Tracking pregnancy heart risks in women born with heart defects
NCT ID NCT06678256
Summary
This study aims to see if blood tests taken during and after pregnancy can predict future heart problems in women who were born with a heart condition. Researchers will follow 100 pregnant women with congenital heart disease to see if changes in these blood markers over time give better clues about risk than a single test. The goal is to improve understanding of pregnancy risks for this group, but the study is currently suspended.
