NCT ID NCT05940688

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether digital health tools and community health workers could help improve pregnancy care for Black mothers in underserved Alabama communities. Researchers enrolled 40 pregnant women to try different support combinations and measured whether participants found them helpful. The goal was to see if these approaches could be used in a larger study to address racial disparities in pregnancy outcomes.
