Blood test may predict pregnancy risks for women with autoimmune condition
NCT ID NCT02855047
Summary
This study aimed to find out if early changes in two blood markers (PGF and sFlt1) could predict pregnancy complications in women with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). Researchers followed 513 women with APS who were starting a new pregnancy and receiving standard blood thinner injections. They measured these markers before treatment and on day 4 to see if the changes could forecast problems like miscarriage, preeclampsia, or poor fetal growth.
