Pregnancy's mystery: why rheumatoid arthritis eases while lupus worsens

NCT ID NCT02350491

Summary

This study aimed to understand why rheumatoid arthritis symptoms often improve during pregnancy while lupus symptoms may get worse. Researchers followed 50 pregnant women with either condition to analyze tiny molecules in their blood and tissues. The goal was to find clues that could lead to better ways to predict disease flares and develop new treatments.
