Can a pill stop migraines before they start?
NCT ID NCT07301008
Summary
This study is testing if taking the medication rimegepant *before* exposure to a known personal migraine trigger can prevent the headache from happening. It involves 60 adults in the US who reliably get migraines after specific triggers like exercise, stress, or air travel. Researchers will measure how often a moderate-to-severe migraine still occurs within 24 hours after taking the preemptive dose.
