Why blood vessels stay damaged after preeclampsia: new clues
NCT ID NCT07345845
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at why women who had preeclampsia may have lasting blood vessel problems. Researchers will test if a specific signaling pathway (mineralocorticoid receptor) causes inflammation and poor vessel function. Forty women, some with a history of preeclampsia and some without, will have skin blood flow measured and cells collected. The goal is to understand the cause, not to provide treatment.
