Summary
This study reviewed the medical records of 269 adults with multiple traumatic injuries who were treated in the intensive care unit (ICU). The goal was to identify which factors most strongly predict whether a patient will survive or die. By understanding these predictors, doctors hope to improve care and outcomes for future trauma patients.
