First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will test a smartphone app that uses artificial intelligence to create personalized lifestyle plans for people with Parkinson's disease. The app combines diet, exercise, sleep, and other habits to help manage symptoms and possibly slow the disease. Researchers will enroll 200 participants and track changes in movement, daily living, and thinking skills over time.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
lifestyle intervention (smart platform app with diet, exercise, sleep tracking)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a personalized, non-drug way to manage Parkinson's symptoms and potentially slow the disease's progression.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage study (not yet recruiting) with 200 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The app's predictions depend on data quality and user adherence.
