Can a simple questionnaire predict teen depression after a concussion?

Summary
This study aims to create a tool to help doctors predict which teenagers who suffer a mild traumatic brain injury (like a concussion) are at higher risk for developing new or worsening anxiety or depression in the months that follow. Researchers will enroll over 2,500 adolescents in emergency departments and ask them and their parents to complete mental health questionnaires at the time of injury, and again one and three months later. The goal is to identify risk factors and develop a practical screening tool for clinicians.
