New tests aim to spot dangerous pregnancy blood pressure early
NCT ID NCT05999851
Summary
This study is testing new ways to predict which pregnant women might develop high blood pressure disorders or preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication. Researchers will use simple, non-invasive tests to measure blood vessel health in 400 first-time mothers during their first and second trimesters. The goal is to identify women at risk earlier so doctors can monitor them more closely and potentially improve outcomes for both mother and baby.
