Blood test may predict surgery confusion risk in diabetic seniors

NCT ID NCT06426953

Summary

This study aims to find out if certain proteins in the blood can help predict which older diabetic patients might develop confusion after surgery. Researchers will collect blood samples from 180 patients before their operation and measure specific protein levels. They will then track which patients experience post-surgery delirium to see if there's a connection.
