Scientists develop tool to stop families quitting Kids' weight programs
NCT ID NCT04364282
Summary
This study aimed to create a tool that predicts which families are likely to drop out of pediatric weight management programs early. Researchers followed over 1,200 children and a parent from four different programs for six months, collecting data on family life, health, and stress. The goal was to use this information to help clinics identify at-risk families and provide extra support to keep them in treatment, improving health outcomes for children.
