Blood markers may predict kidney failure in heart patients

NCT ID NCT07139626

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether certain proteins in the blood can predict if someone with chronic heart failure will develop kidney problems (cardiorenal syndrome). Researchers will measure these proteins in 150 adults with heart failure and follow them for one year. The goal is to find a simple blood test that gives an early warning, so doctors can step in sooner.
