First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study enrolls 200 adults scheduled for surgery to remove pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma tumors. Researchers will test a model that uses 6 factors to predict severe blood pressure swings during the operation, and a real-time tool that warns of changes 60 seconds ahead. Participants wear a continuous glucose monitor and undergo an AI-based anesthesia check, but their standard care is not changed. The goal is to improve safety and understanding of these risky surgeries.
