Can a simple heart rate check predict survival for bleeding patients?
NCT ID NCT06680583
Summary
This study aims to find out if simple measurements like heart rate and blood pressure can help doctors predict how well liver cirrhosis patients will recover after a serious gastrointestinal bleed. Researchers will follow 150 patients to see if these common vital signs are reliable indicators of survival and recovery. The goal is to help emergency doctors make faster and better treatment decisions for these critically ill patients.
