Could your genes predict your stroke recovery?

NCT ID NCT05179538

Summary

This study aims to understand why some people with aphasia (language problems after a stroke) respond better to therapy than others. Researchers will test 120 people to see if specific genes and memory skills can predict how well someone improves with word-retrieval therapy. The goal is to gather information that could one day help doctors personalize treatment plans for better recovery.
