Summary
This study aims to identify which Alzheimer's patients are most likely to benefit from the approved medication memantine. Researchers will test whether a simple brain function measurement after a single dose can predict who will show the best cognitive improvement over six months of treatment. The study involves 53 participants with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's who will receive memantine for 24 weeks while their symptoms are monitored.
