Personalized comfort care may extend life in advanced esophageal cancer

Summary

This study tests whether a tailored palliative care plan can help people with advanced esophageal cancer live longer and feel better. About 624 adults will receive either standard comfort care or a personalized version that adjusts to their needs. All participants will complete surveys about their quality of life and emotional well-being for one year.
