NCT ID NCT05239845
First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking prebiotic supplements for 56 days can improve sleep quality, gut health, thinking skills, immune function, and stress in healthy adults who say they sleep poorly. About 68 people will take either a prebiotic or a placebo, and their sleep will be measured in a lab. The goal is to see if changing gut bacteria can help people sleep better without medication.
