First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether switching from regular soda to a prebiotic soda can improve blood sugar control in adults with mildly high blood sugar. About 224 adults aged 40-70 who drink 2-3 regular sodas daily will replace them with the prebiotic drink. Researchers will measure changes in fasting blood sugar, HbA1c, and insulin levels over time.
