Pre-Treatment fitness program may ease breast cancer recovery

Summary

This study looks at whether a program of exercise and healthy eating, started right after diagnosis and before treatment begins, can help women with breast cancer feel better and recover faster. About 66 women with early-stage breast cancer will take part. The program includes supervised workouts and personalized nutrition advice, followed by home-based support during treatment.
