Radiation blast before surgery: new hope for aggressive prostate cancer?

NCT ID NCT03663218

Summary

This study is testing a two-step treatment for men with aggressive prostate cancer. First, patients receive a short, intense course of targeted radiation (SBRT). Then, they undergo surgery to remove the prostate. The main goal is to find out if this combined approach is safe and doesn't cause severe side effects in the urinary or digestive systems after surgery.
