Speedy Pre-Surgery rehab tested for smokers facing lung cancer
NCT ID NCT06432972
Summary
This study is testing a condensed, two-week exercise and education program for current smokers who have COPD and need surgery for suspected lung cancer. The goal is to see if this 'prehab' program is practical and safe to complete quickly before surgery, and if it helps improve fitness and supports quitting smoking. Researchers will measure how many people can enroll and finish the program, track exercise progress, and monitor for any complications.
