First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether walking 8,000 to 10,000 steps each day for four weeks before bladder cancer removal surgery can lower the chance of problems after the operation. About 146 adults with bladder cancer will take part. Half will be asked to walk more using a step counter, and the other half will receive standard care. Researchers will track complications, quality of life, and recovery time.
