New radiation machine could make breast cancer treatment faster and gentler

Summary
This study is for women with early-stage breast cancer. It tests a single, focused dose of radiation given before surgery to remove the tumor. The goal is to find a safe and effective dose that limits side effects and improves comfort. About 50 participants will receive the radiation using a special machine designed just for the breast.
