New power training program aims to keep veterans walking strong

Summary
This study is creating and testing a new type of exercise program designed to help older veterans maintain their mobility and independence. Researchers will work with veterans to design a 'power training' program that focuses on building leg strength and speed. The program will be tested with 30 veterans to see if it's practical, well-liked, and helps improve walking, stair climbing, and daily activities.
