Fast-Paced strength training could be key to stopping falls in seniors
NCT ID NCT07369440
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific type of exercise program can help older adults prevent dangerous falls. It will compare a new program focused on fast, powerful movements to a traditional exercise program. Researchers will enroll 120 adults aged 65-85, half of whom have fallen in the past year, to see which approach better improves strength, balance, and reduces fall risk.
