Summary

This study tests a dietary supplement made from resistant potato starch in 11 people with cirrhosis and a history of hepatic encephalopathy (brain fog). The goal is to see if the starch changes gut bacteria and improves thinking. Participants take the supplement for 4 weeks and provide stool samples and thinking tests.
