Can a simple potato help stop diabetes? new diet study investigates
NCT ID NCT06817252
Summary
This study is testing if adding baked potatoes with the skin to a Mediterranean-style diet education can help improve blood sugar control and heart health in adults with prediabetes. Researchers will compare the diet with potatoes to the diet education alone over 12 weeks. They are recruiting 60 adults aged 45-80 from the Las Vegas area to see which approach works better.
