Summary
This study is testing whether taking potassium supplements can help protect kidney function in people with moderate to advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) and high blood pressure. It involves 532 participants who have CKD and are at risk of their kidney function getting worse. Researchers want to see if adding potassium to their diet can slow the decline in kidney function and reduce other health risks.
