Summary
This study measured blood sugar levels after eating in 20 healthy adults—10 with normal weight and 10 with overweight or obesity. Participants ate white or wholemeal bread with orange juice and butter, and their blood glucose was checked over two hours. The goal was to see if body weight affects blood sugar spikes after meals, which are linked to type 2 diabetes risk.
