First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether extra support from a doula (a trained birth coach) can help mothers of premature babies in the NICU feel less stressed, depressed, or anxious. Twenty mothers will receive doula support and help coordinating care, both in the hospital and after going home. The goal is to see if this improves their mental health and helps them get the follow-up care they need.
