Summary

This study compared two medications used to control severe bleeding after cesarean delivery when standard treatment fails. Researchers tested whether methylergonovine or carboprost works better to help the uterus contract and stop bleeding. The trial involved 100 women who experienced this dangerous complication during childbirth.
