Summary
This study works with 250 high-risk pregnant and postpartum women, their families, and healthcare providers in five Mississippi Delta counties. The goal is to improve trust in the healthcare system, increase health literacy, and encourage more postpartum visits. Researchers will test a community-based communication strategy to reduce racial and rural disparities in maternal health.
