Shingles pain battle: injection vs. radiofrequency - which works better?

NCT ID NCT07400640

Summary

This study compares two existing pain treatments for people with postherpetic neuralgia, the severe nerve pain that can linger after shingles. Researchers are observing 50 patients who have already received either an ultrasound-guided nerve block injection or a radiofrequency therapy treatment as part of their regular care. They will track and compare how much each treatment reduces pain intensity and nerve-related symptoms over one month.
