Shingles pain relief showdown: which treatment works better?
NCT ID NCT07400640
Summary
This study compares two different pain relief methods for people suffering from postherpetic neuralgia, the persistent nerve pain that can follow shingles. Researchers will look at 50 patients who have already received either an ultrasound-guided nerve block or a radiofrequency treatment as part of their regular care. The study will track how well each method reduces pain intensity and nerve pain symptoms over one month.
