Trial aims to ease Post-Surgery bowel distress for women

Summary
This study is testing which of two common laxative methods works better to prevent painful constipation after pelvic organ prolapse surgery. Researchers will compare an oral medication (senna) with a rectal suppository (bisacodyl) in 88 women having this type of vaginal surgery. The main goal is to see which method helps patients have their first comfortable bowel movement sooner after their operation.
