back brace
What this could lead to
If wearing a brace after spinal fusion helps, it could give doctors a simple way to improve recovery and reduce pain for patients.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed study with only 43 people, so results may not apply to everyone. The brace might not make a meaningful difference in pain or quality of life.
