Can group support beat home monitoring alone in preventing second strokes?

NCT ID NCT07091851

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to help people control high blood pressure after a stroke to prevent another one. Researchers are comparing two methods: having people monitor their blood pressure at home alone, versus combining home monitoring with virtual group doctor visits where participants learn together. The goal is to see if the group support approach leads to better blood pressure control and is more helpful for stroke survivors.
