NCT ID NCT07180407
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study follows 800 adults who spent at least 48 hours in the ICU to track how many develop ongoing pain. Researchers will call participants at 90 and 180 days after leaving the ICU to ask about pain, sleep, mood, and quality of life. A smaller group will also have a detailed physical exam to understand the pain better. The goal is to identify risk factors and improve care for ICU survivors.
