First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a team of nurses, dietitians, and pharmacists to standard follow-up care helps heart attack survivors reach their LDL cholesterol goals. About 230 adults who had a recent heart attack will be randomly assigned to either usual care or extra team support. The goal is to see if this approach helps more patients achieve the recommended low cholesterol levels one year later.
