Can simple daily positivity ease chronic back pain?
NCT ID NCT02476812
Summary
This study tested whether a 30-day program of positive activities could help people with chronic low back pain feel and function better. 200 adults scheduled for a standard steroid injection were randomly assigned to either try the 'Positive Piggy Bank' program right away or to wait. The main goal was to see if the program improved people's ability to do daily activities, with secondary checks on pain, mood, sleep, and overall well-being.
