New Pocket-Sized scanner could revolutionize liver Check-Ups

NCT ID NCT05986916

Summary

This study is testing a new portable device called LiverScope® to see if it can accurately measure fat in the liver. Researchers are comparing it to standard MRI scans and another ultrasound test in 50 adults with or suspected of having fatty liver disease. The goal is to see if this simpler, tabletop device could one day make liver monitoring easier in clinics.
