First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a small, hands-free device called the PEP-buddy that helps people with COPD breathe easier during sudden episodes of breathlessness. The device works by creating gentle pressure when you breathe out. Researchers will study 25 adults with COPD to see if using the device for 4 weeks reduces how severe their breathlessness feels. The goal is to find a simple, portable tool that can improve daily life for people with COPD.
