NCT ID NCT07178236
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested a new portable device called MARIE that measures carbon dioxide (CO2) in the breath of 40 adults after surgery. The goal was to see if MARIE works as well as standard hospital monitors to detect breathing problems early. Researchers compared MARIE's readings with those from routine equipment and blood tests. The study did not test a treatment, only the accuracy of the device.
