NCT ID NCT07218718

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looks at whether sucking on popsicles during chemotherapy can reduce taste changes in prostate cancer patients. Taste changes are a common side effect of taxane chemo, and cooling the mouth may help by reducing blood flow to taste buds. The study will enroll 60 patients who are starting chemo for the first time.
