Summary
This study follows 5,000 children aged 0-16 before and up to one year after surgery to learn how many develop chronic pain and why. Parents and children fill out questionnaires about pain, anxiety, and recovery. The goal is to find risk factors so doctors can better prevent long-term pain in the future.
