Summary
This study tested two ways to use the drug pomalidomide in people with multiple myeloma that had come back or stopped responding to treatment. All 23 participants first received a combination of clarithromycin, pomalidomide, and dexamethasone (ClaPD). Then, half got a stem cell transplant followed by pomalidomide maintenance, while the other half continued ClaPD for more cycles. The goal was to see which approach better controlled the disease.
