NCT ID NCT05850364
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether a polio vaccine (sIPV) works just as well when given together with other routine vaccines for babies, like those for pneumonia, diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough. About 1,400 infants in Bangladesh and Pakistan received the polio vaccine either alone or with other shots at 6, 10, and 14 weeks old. The goal was to see if the immune response to polio and the other vaccines was strong enough when given together.
