Radiation boosts immunotherapy in spreading cancers: early trial opens

NCT ID NCT07269080

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether adding precise radiation to up to 10 tumor spots can improve the effectiveness of immunotherapy in people with advanced solid tumors that have spread to 3-10 places. About 28 adults will receive the combination and be monitored for changes in tumor DNA in their blood. The goal is to see if this approach can better control the disease, though it is not expected to be a cure.
